まりいさんは今年のお正月はおせち（Japanese Historical Food)をたべるつもりです。日本人はお正月にたいていじんじゃ(shrine)とおまいり(pray)をすると言っていました。まりいさんは日本の天気のほうがすきです。あつすぎずさむすぎないからです。そして、ゆでたまご(boiled egg)がいちばんだいきらいです。まずいからです。
I thought it was really funny and interesting how Marii doesn't like boiled eggs. They are sooo GOOD!!! I also thought it was interesting how on New Years Day, Japanese eat historical food. I don’t think in my culture we have specific food we eat （that we already don't eat on a regular daily basis.), so learning about that was really cool.
Boiled egg is one of my favorite foods here!!How come she does not like it?lol

Thats so interesting because my sister doesnt like egg either! I also agree that we dont have a specific cultural food to eat during new years.
